User’s Survey on Feasibility and Benefit of Teleneurology in the Area of Nordhessen (Neuro-Netz Mitte)

Implementation and evaluation of telemedical projects have showed to be effective in improving outcomes of patients with acute stroke. Teleneurology typically entails live video consultations alongside with an interactive chat between the patient in the local emergency department, supported by an on-site health professional, and an on-call stroke-specialist physician from the Stroke Unit. The aim of this study is to evaluate the feasibility and benefit of teleneurology for the participating physicians in the rural hospitals by using a survey.
