The relation between neighborhood physical characteristics and subjective well-being of the inhabitants

Defining modification method to facilitate decision-making process for retrofitting and enhancing existing neighborhood based on the physical characteristics of the built environment and the subjective well-being (SWB is considered happiness) of the inhabitants.

The research is about the relation between neighborhood physical characteristics enhancement through using subjective well-being indicator as a decision support tool . Part of the literature review will be on existing well-being index used to improve neighborhoods. Another part will focus on how neighborhood performance is evaluated.
