The Capstone Proposal will consist of the following elements in order, some of which can be updated from work in OLM 503 if the content remains relevant to your research (some editing may be necessary):
 
a.      Cover Page
 
b.      Abstract
 
c.      Detailed Outline (not included in the full capstone project)
 
d.      Table of Contents (HINT: include these items on the Table of Contents)
 
e.      Introduction of the Topic
 
f.        Statement of the Problem
 
g.      Statement of the Purpose of the Research
 
h.      Review of the Literature
 
i.        Research Questions (and/or hypotheses if applicable)
 
j.        Research method to be employed
 
k.       Conclusion
 
l.        Reference List
 
m.    Appendix to include documents used to collect data.
 
  
The suggested length of the Capstone Proposal is 15-20 pages (excluding cover, abstract, references, and appendix), double-spaced, with page numbers in the upper right corner, in accordance with APA style and format guidelines.
 
The Capstone Proposal should be submitted to the Capstone Instructor for his/her review and approval; please understand this process may require several drafts.
* Please edit this paper with the annotated corrections and also use the guidelines that are in the attached documents.
 
*Please note that the appendix survey is for teachers and support staff, and the interview questions are for school administrators.
 
* The literature review must be 10 pages, and it is approximately 5 pages now.
