Research Article Analysis

1) Read the article in its entirety.

2) Create an outline of the main points discussed in each section of the article, noting what kind of information is typically discussed in that section as you are reading.

3) Write an analysis, using the outline you created, that includes the following:

• A summary of the article

• An explanation of the type of information that is discussed in each section of a research article

• An explanation of why the article would or would not be considered a reliable and valid source

4) Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines.
