Religion and the Environment Research Paper

Your research must focus on a particular form of religion or spirituality and its relationship to nature or to environmental issues.  For instance, a paper could focus on: 
Shamanism and traditional ecological knowledge 
Islamic views of animals
Catholic responses to global climate change
The Ganges River and Hinduism
Confucianism and sustainable development in China
Neopagan views of plants
Judaism and Food  
There are endless possibilities. Try to choose something that you find interesting or relevant to your life or your studies.      
Your paper must analyze your chosen topic, and you must use references to support your analysis, including references from class readings (e.g., our class books) as well as references from other readings done outside of class (e.g., books/articles you found that are related to your research topic).
