1. Practicum Plan. To reduce initial confusion and anxiety, you need to make an early effort to understand the role and responsibilities that you are expected to perform in the agency. Similarly, you need to “fit” your skills and competencies into the structure of the school/agency. Having reviewed your role and knowing the specific tasks that are required, you need to formulate a tentative plan for carrying out the practicum. You need to develop a practicum plan which include the following: 
a. A plan that is linked to the overall mission, strategic plan and major aims of the agency. b. List all personal performance areas: List all tasks you are responsible either alone or with 
others.
c. Determine what areas in the agency you can become a major contributor (your strengths 
and competencies)
d. Develop objectives and time period in each performance area and determine some of the 
critical accomplishments in that area.
e. List measures that can be used to indicate progress and accomplishments.
