BACKGROUND: The patient is an 83-year-old male who is walker dependent and homebound. He was recently discharged from a skilled nursing facility to his home with skilled services. The patient’s 90-year-old wife is his primary caregiver. The wife reports the patient has had several falls in the home since his discharge.
I am a Physical Therapist....the course is Evidence-Based Practice in PT, graduate course. The professor has given specific guidelines. Some are helpful resources such as the attached guideline for writing systematic reviews but the EBP2 Final PICO paper instructions are MANDATORY. He has also provided the class with a sample paper with what his expectations of the final product to be. I am aware, I will have to remove the walker dependent in my search, that would be reflected in the key terms.
