The Process

Write an analytical technical report.

Your technical report should include:

 Title page

 Letter of transmittal

 Table of Contents

 Abstract

 Report – six to eight pages in length, double spaced; make sure that you are citing sources throughout your essay. Any summaries, paraphrases, or quotes that are not your own ideas, need to be cited.

 Visuals (pictures, tables, graphs, charts, etc) – at least two (chapter 12)

 Glossary – if needed.

 Appendixes – if needed .

 Works Cited – at least five sources, beyond yourself (only two can come from the same type of source).

 Turn in copies of all of your sources, or if you do observations, interviews, or surveys, turn in the notes of your results. Note on sources: you’ll need to access a variety of sources for your report, to al low you to weigh what kinds of sources will provide you with the most relevant and accurate information. You can have no more than two sources of any single type – so no more than two web pages, no more than two books, no more than two journal articles.
