Media's Take on the Vietnam War

Reflection Papers: Students will be asked to complete a brief, one-page “Reflection” paper on one (and only one) of several questions about each week’s reading.  Both the lecture and the assigned reading from the text can be used in the composition of these. 

Each week there will be a "Reflection Assignment" like this.  Write a one page paper, supporting your position with material from the reading when possible.   ***Note that you only have to complete 6 of the 8 weekly Reflection Assignments, so you have 2 weeks to skip this for when you are busy, want to work on your final paper, etc.***

This week we will look at the New Left and the escalation of the conflict in Vietnam.

This week reading, chapters 9, 10 in the Boyer text.
