Human Catapult Feasibility Study

53

Follow the requirement. We are doing 10:1 Human Catapult Feasibility Study. We need to use the model to send the people 10 ft away. In real life is send the people 300 ft away. There are 3 pictures which are 3 model we tried. We fail on the first and second model even we both tried 100 times. We only success on the third model which is (680840984.jpg). The success rate is about 1/100. I didn't have the data because this is my first time engineering report. So I think you need to make some fake data into the report. Like in what degree of the model is the best degree to send the people in the box.(I think is like 30 degree).

Abstract – very short (no more than 2-3 sentences) describing your experiment and the results
Introduction – explain the problem you’re researching, gives context for the experiment, explains experiment goals and limitations of the research. For you, your context is that you’re building an apparatus for YouTube stunt star 1CrzyMof0 to shoot himself 300+ feet into a pool of water.
Literature Review – explain what information you pulled from your sources, and what you learned. For example, did your sources teach you about catapult construction? Wind resistance? Siege machine history? We need to know how your sources were used to help understand your research.
Methodology – explains how the data was gathered and analyzed. Assume your reader knows and understands the material. Written in past tense and passive voice, eg: “The research has been carried out.” rather than "We researched..."
Results – tell us what happened. Which of your designs worked the best? Should be fairly short, about 1-2 paragraphs.
Discussion – Assess and comment on results. Why do you think you got the results you did? How does this compare to your research – is it what you expected?
Summary – discuss what remains to be learned, any weaknesses and strengths in the study, and how this can be applied to future research.
