For this assignment you will develop a grant proposal based on a new program and/or initiative that you feel would be useful for your field placement or place of employment. Please include the following sections in your grant proposal:
Needs Statement: (Practice Behaviors 2, 6)
• A well-developed explanation of the current need related to the agency/community served.
• Provide data that demonstrates the breadth and depth of the problem/need.
• Discuss the target community/client system that benefitting from the proposal.
Implementation Plan: (Practice Behaviors 7, 8)
• Discuss the goals and objectives associated with the proposal
• Discuss the steps and timeline needed to implement the intervention
• Explain who will be responsible for each task
Evaluation Plan: (Practice Behaviors 6)
• How would you work with the community to effectively evaluate the success of the intervention?
• How would you engage community members in the measurement and assessment of goals and objectives?
• How would you measure each component of the intervention?
Budgeting: (Practice Behavior 5, 7)
• Develop a detailed budget for this proposal that demonstrates what the organization will need to move forward with this intervention • Include a budget justification narrative that explains why funds will be used in the ways presented
Supporting Documents: (Practice Behaviors 6)
• Attach copy of your agency’s mission and vision statement
• Attach an organizational chart
• Attach a GANTT chart outlining the timeline for completion of the intervention and who, in the organization, is responsible for each component
