Part 1: First Draft  
Read McNiff (1997) and reflect on your personal interests.  Submit your answers in paragraph form, to the following questions as the first draft of your action research plan. Please clearly state the question with your answer.

This is the first stage in forming your research topic. This is reflective in nature.
For this assignment, be sure to answer the questions from McNiff (1997):
1. What issue am I interested in researching? (remember, your topic MUST be from the perspective of leadership or the organization)
2. Why do I want to research this issue?
3. What scholarly literature can I gather to show why I am interested in this issue?
4. What can I do? What will I do?  Where might I conduct a study (possibly interview or survey participants?
5. How might I show that my research can make a difference?
6. What can I produce to show my research can make a difference?
7. How can I ensure that any judgments I might make are reasonably fair and accurate?  How will I eliminate/minimize my personal bias?
