Creating a Plan for a Culturally Diverse Classroom

Create a 1,050- to 1,400-word plan for addressing the needs and issues in a multicultural classroom to add to your portfolio. 

Include the following in your plan:

• A description of the cultural makeup of your classroom (must include at least five different ethnic and religious groups)
• An explanation of how and why you would create an atmosphere of tolerance, acceptance, and caring in your classroom environment
• A comprehensive discussion of the issues covered in this course that are most applicable to your geographic area
• A description of your culturally balanced bulletin board that could be used in your class to focus on either a traditional Western holiday or a multicultural celebration at your school.  You may also include clip art to illustrate your plans.
