Task:  Critical appraisal of a research article

Instructions

1. The discussion should have introduction, body and conclusion

2. Critical appraisal - "what" means what study design the article used. "Why" - is it appropriate for the study? and justify why it's appropriate with reference support. 

3. Correct identification of the methodology used in the research. Critique should be relevant and accurate and focuses on the major areas of the strengths and/or weakness of the research. 

4. The key finding for the study are presented

5. Conclusion based on the research finding stated. The potential significance of the research finding for healthcare professional’s clearly and comprehensively presented, suggestions for further research are clear stated.

6. Reference list 10 or more recent supportive evidence. APA style

   7. References are about research methodology - not references or other studies about mental health. References to support your justifications about research methodology, its appropriateness
