Case Study Comparison

Refer back to Chapter One of the Ian Sommerville textbook, Section 1.3 Case Studies.

There are four case studies that are introduced and described:

1.) An insulin pump control system

2.) A patient information system for mental health care

3.) A wilderness weather station

4.) A digital learning environment for schools

Please re-read section 1.3 and feel free to refer to the additional discussion in later chapters regarding any of these systems or additional material from the Ian Sommerville textbook website (case studies), in your discussion here.

We will use this discussion to also address these topics:

1.) Compare/contrast features of these systems. It is probably best to do this with only two at a time to avoid confusion.

2.) How do the architecture and design of these systems reflect the functionality of each system?
