Business Memo

The first paragraph of your memo should be about the setting- describe the setting and explain why networking there could be beneficial.
Remember the following points.

1. You must be ready when the opportunity arises.
2. You must have a purpose for your pitch in mind.
3. You must show a passion for your goals and plans.
4. You must show a genuine interest in the other person.
5. Try to avoid the obvious pitfalls – awkward silences, slang phrases, etc.
