Barriers to NP's

This course introduces you to the concepts surrounding political activism within the Nursing Profession.

For this exercise, you are to identify one politically active person who is an opponent of Nurse Practitioners in your state to educate them toward becoming a proponent. You are to write a one-page brief promoting the need to remove Nurse Practitioner practice barriers across the country.

Please read the excerpt below. You will:

• Introduce yourself to the person to whom you are writing
• Introduce your medical/nursing background
• Introduce the concept of Barriers to Nurse Practitioners licensing (compacts) across the states or barriers to Nurse practitioners in the state of nevada
